This tradition began in 2009 and allows fans to demonstrate their unwavering support for the Wyoming Cowboys as they embark on their journey to War Memorial Stadium. By Jeff Bugher Originally Published in 2022 This week I got to catch up with former UW Free Safety Chris Prosinski, who grew up in my hometown of Buffalo, Wyoming.  Chris played for UW for 5 years (2006-2010) and was ranked #4 in career tackles in UW history with 373.  Prosinksi was selected as the 121st pick in the 4th round of the 2011 NFL Draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars, and played for the following teams during his 7 year NFL career:  2011-14- Jacksonville Jaguars 2014- Philadelphia Eagles 2015-2017-Chicago Bears Tell us about your athletic career at Buffalo High School (football championships, basketball): I was a 3 sport athlete at Buffalo High School. I competed in football, basketball, and track. I was fortunate to grow up with a really good group of guys. Many who are still my best friends to this day. By Jeff Bugher Casper, WY - The University of Wyoming Rodeo Team showcased their exceptional talent and dedication at the recent College National Finals Rodeo (CNFR), held at the Ford Wyoming Center in Casper June 11th-17th.  I have listed the results below: Bareback: - Donny Proffit, rode for the brand, securing the 6th position overall with scores of 76, 75.5, 79, and 78.5 earning a total of 309 points.  Participated in Saturday's championship round. - Brice Patterson ended up in 23rd place with scores of 75.5 in the first and third goes, earning a total of 151 points. Tie Down Roping: - Bodie Mattson showcased exceptional skills, securing the 4th position with scores of 10.1, 8.4, 9.9, and 11.1, accumulating a total of 39.5 points. Participated in Saturday's championship round. - Cam Jensen earned a score of 19.8 seconds in go-round 1, but failed to make times in go-rounds 2 and 3. Jensen ended up in 40th place. Former University of Wyoming Running Back Titus Swen Joins XFL's Seattle Sea Dragons in 2023 Rookie Draft

By Jeff Bugher Despite going undrafted in the 2023 NFL draft, Swen signed an undrafted free agent contract with the Indianapolis Colts. However, on May 8th, the Colts announced that they had waived Swen, opening the door for him to join the XFL. Swen's college career at the University of Wyoming showcased his potential as a talented running back. In the 2022 season, he played in 12 games, accumulating an impressive career-high of 1,039 rushing yards, 5 yards per carry on 207 attempts, and scoring 8 touchdowns before being dismissed from the team in November. Prior to that, in the 2021 season, Swen had a strong performance as a running back for the Cowboys, appearing in all 13 games and leading the team with seven rushing touchdowns. He earned Second Team All-Mountain West honors by Pro Football Focus for his contributions. Swen recorded 785 rushing yards on 132 carries, averaging 60.4 yards per game and 5.9 yards per rush. Vancouver, BC - Former University of Wyoming football wide receiver Ayden Eberhardt has been moved up from the practice squad to the active roster of the BC Lions, ahead of their highly anticipated home opener this Saturday against the Edmonton Elks. Eberhardt's promotion comes after an impressive preseason performance, where he showcased his skills on offense and special teams. During the preseason game on May 27th against the Saskatchewan Roughriders, Eberhardt had a breakout performance, making six receptions for 106 yards. His impressive yardage accounted for 43% of the Lions' total passing yards (247 yards) in that game. Eberhardt's outstanding performance received high praises from Head Coach Rick Campbell, earning him the trust of the coaching staff.
