Former University of Wyoming Running Back Titus Swen Joins XFL's Seattle Sea Dragons in 2023 Rookie Draft

By Jeff Bugher Despite going undrafted in the 2023 NFL draft, Swen signed an undrafted free agent contract with the Indianapolis Colts. However, on May 8th, the Colts announced that they had waived Swen, opening the door for him to join the XFL. Swen's college career at the University of Wyoming showcased his potential as a talented running back. In the 2022 season, he played in 12 games, accumulating an impressive career-high of 1,039 rushing yards, 5 yards per carry on 207 attempts, and scoring 8 touchdowns before being dismissed from the team in November. Prior to that, in the 2021 season, Swen had a strong performance as a running back for the Cowboys, appearing in all 13 games and leading the team with seven rushing touchdowns. He earned Second Team All-Mountain West honors by Pro Football Focus for his contributions. Swen recorded 785 rushing yards on 132 carries, averaging 60.4 yards per game and 5.9 yards per rush.
